An Update Several Years Overdue...Permalink
As usual, I keep forgetting to update my progress blog. Oh well, I've come to terms with it. In the, uh, four years since the last one, I got a Switch and played a ton of games on it, got a bunch of games for 3DS in preparation for the eShop shutdown, and played a ton on PC as usual. This list probably isn't complete, but it's what I could remember and see from achievements from over the past few years.

PC:

Aliens vs Predator 2010 - Started and 100% complete. Very generic shooter and playing as the Alien/Predator were both very underwhelming.
Civilization V - Played a bit and got a few achievements in several scenarios.
Coloring Pixels - Did a bunch more random images, this game's stream of DLC will never end.
Cookie Clicker - It finally released on Steam and I instantly got most achievements from importing my several year old save from my browser, lol. Beware of Grandmas Grandmas beware.
Counter-Strike Source - Got the holiday achievement.
Counter-Strike 2 - Got the one achievement, annoyed that I can't finish CS:GO now because of the complete game replacement.
Dark Souls II - Played a bit more, really need to get back into this.
Doom 64 - Started and 100%ed. Feels more like classic Doom than I was expecting, which was very good.
Doom Eternal - Started and 100%ed the singleplayer. Got all the achievements, but didn't unlock all the multiplayer cosmetics.
DragonBall Xenoverse - Started, and I wasn't expecting how much this game wanted to be an MMO. 100% in this is gonna be a chore to grind all the RNG outfits and items. At least I'm already done with Z rank for all story missions.
Europa Universalis IV - Started playing a Portugal run for the All Blue achievement. Ended up conquering most of the world and now I'm panicking and trying to get the rest of Europe before the end date.
Fallout 4 - Played once again, got a few more achievements.
Garry's Mod - Continued to chip away at the one year achievement.
Golf with Your Friends - Started and 100%ed (at the time). Getting some of those par goals was infuriating. They've since released a couple more courses, which I'll need to go back and do.
GRID Autosport - Started, did a bunch of singleplayer and a bit of multiplayer. This game will be a grind to finish.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Did a Reach LASO run with some friends, and got most of the other achievements from the Xbone cross-save. Definitely a personal record for most achievements in a day. laugh
Katamari Damacy Reroll - Started and 100%ed. All constellations at 100%, all items in collection, all presents obtained. This game is so weird, but I love it.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition - Started the multi-playthrough process of getting a 100% character in Mass Effect 1. On the final playthrough now.
Metro: Last Light - Finally went back and played through to get all the collectibles. Long overdue 100%.
Old School RuneScape - Got my ironman up to nearly 2200 total level and started doing some Corrupted Gauntlet and a few other high-end bosses, am almost starting to feel good at the game. It also received some Steam achievements, which I earned all of.
RuneScape - Played a tiny amount of RS3 before I got bored and went back to OSRS.
Scribblenauts Unmasked - Started and 100%ed. Bought all the unlockable items and actually read most of the batcomputer entries because I'm a fucking nerd.
Serious Sam Fusion - Played a bit more and burnt out.
Shadow Warrior Classic Redux - Started, am about halfway through the second episode. Fun little FPS, not sure whether the Duke Nukem-esque character voiceovers are annoying or entertaining yet.
Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated - Started and 100% complete. Entertaining little nostalgia trip, even if the character models look kinda weird.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy - Started and 100%ed all 3 games. While I prefer the originals, these games are still the pinnacle of the 3D platformer genre.
Stellaris - Played another game, got a few achievements.
System Shock Enhanced Edition - Played a little bit, but fell off because I wasn't in the mood for old PC game controls. Will return eventually.
Tabletop Simulator - Played some Pokemon game with friends and got a few random achievements.
The Stanley Parable - Opened the game up for the "Don't play for 5 years" achievement and was robbed. Apparently if you reinstall it you have to restart Steam before booting it again to get the achievement. Gotta wait another 5 years. cry
The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe - Played this version for the first time, got all the endings and achievements. My favorite was the bottomless hole. It is now uninstalled and awaiting the "Don't play for 10 years" achievement. See you in 2034!
Thief Gold - Started and got all pickpockets/loot on all missions. This game is a ton of fun and holds up to this day. I also noticed how much the stealth mechanics feel like Skyrim's, I wonder if there's a lot of developer overlap.
Thief Simulator - Started and 100%ed. Being a kleptomaniac has never been so much fun, but I do hate how limiting the carry weight is.
Unpacking - Started and 100%ed. Bittersweet but fun little game.
Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II + Chaos Rising - Am finally going back and getting the last few achievements on the Steam version now that they removed GFWL.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 - Started and nearly 100%ed, still need to max the DLC Construction characters. Goddamn do I love this series.

Nintendo:

[GBA] Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure - Started and 100%ed, all crystals, gems, and platinum relics. Surprisingly good Crash game for the hardware limitations.
[GBA] DragonBall Z: The Legacy of Goku - A game played purely out of nostalgia, because it's complete crap, an invulnerability glitch is pretty much required for the boss fights. Reached max level and completed all "side quests".
[GBA] DragonBall Z: The Legacy of Goku 2 - The point where the series actually gets good. Hit max level with all characters, including Hercule and Goku, unlocking the secret ending. Also got all scouter entries, items, and collectibles.
[GBA] DragonBall Z: Buu's Fury - Legacy of Goku 3 in everything but name. Started and completed a playthrough, want to do a run where I collect all items and equipment.
[GBA] Spyro: Season of Ice - Started and collected all gems and fairies. Surprisingly competent for a GBA conversion, but the platforming is definitely hurt by the platform's limitations.
[GBA] Spyro 2: Season of Flame - Started and 100%ed. Core mechanics of Season of Ice are there, but slightly improved.
[GBA] Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs - Started and 100%ed. It's mechanically almost identical to Season of Flames, which is fine I guess.
[GBA] Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy - Started and 100%ed. Collected all cards, gems and finished game. A not so great 2D platformer.

[3DS] Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity - Started and completed the story. Almost finished collecting one of each pokemon. Going to be a hell of a grind to max out every attack and build a max version of every building I want in the Paradise.
[3DS] Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Started and 100%ed in order to get the DLC before the eShop closure. I was really intrigued by the plot until the dumb fucking plot twist. I have since read that this is a normal experience for most Professor Layton games, which is a shame.

[Switch] Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Started, first Animal Crossing game and holy shit was I not prepared for what 100%ing an Animal Crossing game requires (especially this one). This one is gonna take years.
[Switch] Super Mario Odyssey - Started and 100%ed. Collected every moon, maxed the coin counter, and even maxed the rewards on Luigi's balloon game. The best 3D Mario yet.
[Switch] Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Started and 100%ed (at the time). Cleared every character's Classic mode on 9.9, collected and maxed every spirit, got all the advancements. This game's AI is absolutely infuriating and I have grown to hate it with a passion. They've released a few more spirits that I'll need to collect and grind to max.
[Switch] The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Started and 100%ed. Got all treasure chests, all Korok seeds, collected all unique horses, even collected the glitched chests that you have to use bugs to get under the map to collect. This game is constantly fighting you and doing everything in its power to prevent you from having fun. I will not be playing Tears of the Kingdom, and I hope they go back to making good Zelda games at some point.

[Switch NES Virtual Console] Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels - Started and finished.

[Switch SNES Virtual Console] Mario's Super Picross - Started and am nearly done. Only Wario's Ultra tier left.
[Switch SNES Virtual Console] Super Mario All-Stars - Started and finished Super Mario Bros 1. and started Super Mario Bros. 2.
[Switch SNES Virtual Console] Super Mario Kart - Started and 100%ed, got gold on every grand prix on all difficulties. The worst Mario Kart by a long shot.
[Switch SNES Virtual Console] Super Mario World - Started and completed all levels, including the hidden levels. Still one of the GOATs.

[Switch N64 Virtual Console] Mario Golf - Started and unlocked every character, got a gold medal on each tournament, and did all the challenge shots, still have a couple game modes to go.
[Switch N64 Virtual Console] Pokemon Snap - Started and unlocked a few stages.
[Switch N64 Virtual Console] The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Never played this before, finished all the side quests, collected all the upgrades, and did a final "perfect" run where I just barely managed to do almost everything in a single cycle.

[Switch GBA Virtual Console] Mario Kart Super Circuit - Started and 100%ed. Got triple star rank on every circuit (including hidden circuits) for every CC tier.
[Switch GBA Virtual Console] The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap - Started and 100%ed. Might just be my favorite Zelda game.

Playstation:

[PS4] Yakuza 3 - Started playing this right before they put out the 3/4/5 collection on PC. Nearly 100%, just need to grind a couple more items from the Coliseum.
