This is an easy-to-understand but addictive city builder. There are 21 levels in this game, a tutorial, and a sandbox mode. The levels differ in 3 categories: real-life cities, fantasy cities, and crazy challenges like building a city on a rope. Every level has one main goal, which you need to complete to be able to go further, and 2 optional objectives. If you're an achievement hunter like me you want to complete every objective on every map.

The basis is easy, you want citizens, to attract those you have to build houses and build commercial buildings so they can have jobs. Those buildings need power. And your citizens will feel a whole lot better if there are fire stations, hospitals, and police stations close by. What this game does different, apart from the crazy challenging levels is that when you stack specific buildings a certain way they will change to an upgrade version. For example, 2 houses next together will make a bigger house. This is what you want to do because that house will hold more people than 2 separated houses and that gives you more rent, and you really want more rent because with that you can build more and more.. and more... This is an addictive loop and I like the objectives this game throws at you. Do you need happy citizens, don't build casinos! They give a lot of job opportunities.. but neighbors don't like casinos close by.. and they don't want to travel for work, so placing them further doesn't work (They just don't know what they want.. wanting a job but not wanting a casino close by.. they just don't know what brings in the big money :P)

Are you an achievement hunter like me? Don't worry this game has no missable achievements and you can always go back to earlier locations you build to finish them off. Almost all of the achievements are straightforward. Around 60% of the achievements is for completing all the objectives. You will also get achievements for building specific things or destroy enough items, but you can easily mop those up afterward. The most challenging one is the sandbox achievement because you have to build every different type of house/building/landmark. So for example a store knows 7 different versions, you need to build all 7 in one map in the sandbox map. In my guide you can find a list with all the different buildings, you can use that to make this achievement a little easier.

I had a lot of fun with this game. It doesn't take too long for completion and has no missable achievements. It is addictive and a lot of fun.
