This is a very relaxing narrative game with excellent voice acting. You will go metal detecting while chatting with Beth by Walki-Talki or during breaks in her car. You'll talk about items you find but also about life and the choices we make. Don't expect to go fast through this game, walking with a metal detector is a slow progress, but the game isn't that long. The story takes around 3 to 4 hours.

The game has some missable achievements like choosing to keep metal detecting each day when Beth tells you it is time for Lunch. And you have to photograph some landmarks and other things, see the link to my guide above to know where they are and not miss out on them.

You have to play through the game a little bit more than 1 playthrough to find all the items. The game has some story-related items you will find, but also random items. In the new game + the random items you haven't found will come up first when you find a random item. I got the idea that whenever you choose to go on metal detecting after Beth calls for a break, you for sure find a random item, but this is just the idea I got.

Things the game can improve, the devs seem to think about those, so there is hope they will implement them:
    1. I wish there was an option to select a day after finishing your first playthrough. That would make that none of the achievements would be missable anymore.
    2. I wish there was an option to skip dialog, especially in the new game + since you already know what the conversation will be and it can give a new perspective to hear it after you know how the story ends but still, it felt tedious the second time.
