Space Otter Charlie was a real surprise to me how addictive and charming it is. The game looks good and has a lot of humor but before playing it I was a little bit worried about the controls. I don't like physics-based games in general because of the weird movement, but this wasn't bad at all, only took like 5 minutes to get used to the controls.

You play as a young otter who left earth with 2 other otters after the humans left years before. You need a new place to live because the earth is warming up.. so you build a spaceship of 4... Once in space, you run out of fuel and have to explore nearby space stations/planets to find fuel and other items.

Space Otter Charlie is a very enjoyable puzzle platformer that also includes fights. The game starts very easy but is addictive from the start. The game will get a lot more challenging, and on the last level there were a few frustrating moments, but nothing you can't overcome.

Most of the achievements are for playing the game and unlocking and upgrading your weapons. I would suggest exploring every location as much as you can. They have hidden rooms, some are easy to spot, but others are hard to notice. None of the achievements are missable, so don't worry too much about them and enjoy the game. The achievement "All Aboard" might be a bit grindy, because you need a lot of energy, but you can return to earlier planets. I found a very nice grinding spot on the first planet and have posted a video of that here . Another challenging one might be to unlock all the otter data logs, keep in mind this only counts for the otter data, you can miss other data logs, see the guide of Xpliciit for the locations of the one you're missing after completing the game.

I did enjoy this lovely gem and it wasn't hard to complete it. I hope you'll enjoy this game as well.
