She Remembered Caterpillars Demo is a short nine level demo of the full game She Remembered Caterpillars, released in full in January 2017 by jumpsuit entertainment, Ysbryd Games and WhisperGames. She Remembered Caterpillars is a puzzle game, with utterly beautiful designs of characters. With the theme of love, loss, and holding on, this is a beautiful game that makes the player think.
For achievement hunters, the demo currently tracks four achievements, worth 65 TSA points.

It’s really not hard to see, upon first opening this game, as to why it’s been nominated for so many visual art awards across game awards since being published. It was the art that initially dragged me to this game in the first place. Upon playing it, I was lost in a world of puzzle and beautiful art that really made me stop and just appreciate them for the first few levels. Upon the completion of level 4, the puzzles start getting a little more challenging, causing the player to sit and think a little more upon them.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this game to people who aren’t keen on puzzle games, as that’s pretty much all there is to this game. However, for those who do like puzzle games, I would highly recommend downloading this demo. It didn’t take me too long to complete, only sitting shelved for a long time due to deleting a ton of games off my laptop for hard drive space, but this game is truly a gem hidden throughout puzzle games. Definitely a game I’m interested in buying as a puzzle gamer after simply seeing the art work and playing nine levels of the demo. It’s worth the try, even if you just want the extra 65 TSA points.
