Shake Your Money Simulator 2016 is yet another unfunny joke release in the ever growing "memes" genre of gaming. Many compare the game to Shower With Your Dad Simulator, however the two games are made by entirely different people. This title is published and developed by CharlieH, who you also play as in the game (surprise).
The entire point of Shake Your Money Simulator 2016 is to throw cash at strippers. You just left click away and throw dollar bills, building up a percentage meter that gains you one point per click unless you catch flying rainbow dollar bill signs to increase your multiplier. However, get hit by some bullets, safe boxes, a worm, or flying poop and your multiplier goes down. There are also muscle hunks, opossums, and various other oddities that fall from the sky.
There are six "levels" to this game that feature different strippers, audience members, and backgrounds, and there are also six characters that you can play as; with the exception of one throwing gold bars and one throwing coins, there's absolutely no difference except the sprite between all of them. The music is the same looping garbage for every stage as well. Each time you click to throw money, the screen shakes, which can become disorienting and headache inducing after an extended period of time, and there is no way to turn this feature off.
For such a simple game that probably only took a week or two to throw together, when it first released it had completely broken achievements. Not only that, but one of them stayed broken and the developer finally put a lazy "fix" to it; the Champion achievement requires that you get 10 of each trophy, bronze, silver, and gold, however it will always unlock upon getting your first trophy. You obtain different trophies depending on your score in the level; between 100-500 is bronze, 500-1000 is silver, and 1000+ is gold.
Needless to say, Shake Your Money Simulator 2016 is utter "memes" trash. The developer hasn't had a thing to do with the game since April 2016, after releasing an update that stated they were preparing for global updates that would be available in a week. Well, it has now been 4 and a half months, I don't think this title is getting anything new added to it, which is fine by me. Heed my warning and don't bother giving this developer your money, even if it is on sale for mere cents. If you really want a funny, cheap "memes" game, grab Shower With Your Dad Simulator or even What's Under Your Blanket.
