"Nothing is Forever" is very kink-friendly, with each character having their own preferences. The player can decide which kinks they're interested in, based on an aspect-point system. There are four aspects ruling which kinks the MC can gain, and points for these aspects are granted based on the conversational choices the player makes. This results in a roleplay-friendly system, where no kinks or intimate scenes are forced on the player.
The downside here is, that if your favorite kinks don't escalate as the characters' do, the intimate scenes stop. If you're only a fan of mild/vanilla kinks, the later chapters will have little erotic content for you to enjoy.

Visual
The visual quality of this game is decent, but not superb. The love interests and MC are all visually appealing. The women have realistic body proportions and are well animated. The dev also takes care to show their emotions. The scenes themselves are detailed enough, but I'm often missing movement in the background. During a long conversation, nothing will be going on in the background, any people there are static.
The erotic animations are varied and well animated. The dev could improve here by making the animations longer, and having multiple, differently timed tracks, adding more detail and subtle movements.
The first chapter of "Nothing is Forever" uses a rendering style that outlines characters. Luckily, the dev stepped back from this from Chapter 2 onward. Some animations still suffer from this, where skin creases and shadows on characters look very dark.

Novel
"Nothing is Forever" is a character driven AVN, where intimacy is a result of growing closer to characters. The protagonist is a psychologist who fell on hard times after losing his dream job, due to his own fault. Now it's up to the player to define his character and motivations.
The game doesn't have a big overarching story, instead it's more slice of life, with each chapter having a B-plot where the MC navigates in.
Most choices in this game have an effect. Some just add points for the kink system, others can significantly change how other characters deal with you. The absence of an overarching story allows players to tell their own story. An event can rub you the wrong way, and you can change how you interact with characters because of that.
