Game info:This feels kind of like a board game in which you simulate your life. It is a time management game, but not real-life time like the "12 Labours of Hercules"- series but in-game time. Each week (your own turn) in the game has a specific amount of time, everything you do in the game costs time, how to do the most in one week before your turn is already over.
At the end of each game you'll be ranked against some stats you increased and decreased during the game:
1. Health: how healthy are you, did you exercise, did you not only eat fast food
2. Money: How much money do you have, having a higher job will net you more money
3. Education: This will help you to be able to get higher jobs as well, and so more money
4. Happiness: From only work and school your character will get stressed out, also do fun things like going to the moon!
There will also always be 3 random factors which will be ranked, to know what those are during the game you can buy a paper in the supermarket so you know on what to focus.
This game can be played solo, with or without a CPU player, or with friends local or online. It has 4 different game lengths:
short - 10 weeks, takes around 10 minutes per game
medium - 20 weeks, takes around 20 minutes per game
Long - 30 weeks, takes around 30 minutes per game
Marathon - This will end when anybody has the 4 basic stats on 100%, it normally takes between 45 and 70 weeks
The game is not hard to understand and is so much fun to play. I kept on playing and tried to get as many achievements as I could. I also want to shout out to the developers who are so responsive and fix things fast. I found a bug with an achievement and they fixed it within like 3 hours.
Achievements info:This game has a lot of achievements. Most of them are simple things, like buying a poster for your house and click on it in your house, buy X lottery tickets.
There are also a lot that will have to do with winning a game a specific way, like winning naked or win as a janitor. The good news is, you can do those achievements solo when playing a local 2 player game, have one player just only relax in his house, while the other in-game player does all the hard work and winning the game.
It also has a few grindy ones, like having X profit with stocks or playing 101 days as a janitor. You don't need to do those in one game, the game tracks those stats for all your games.
There is one achievement that will let you find all the 8 developers in the game, I managed to find 3 of them, but this is just a matter of time before anybody has found them all and hopefully posted a guide or something. The hardest achievement for me in this game is win from the CPU in all (4) game modes, so far I haven't been able to win any of them. For this one I hope somebody will write a guide with tips and tricks as well. I kind of wish you could set the CPU to a specific difficulty, but you don't have that option.
Pros & cons:+ Very addictive gameplay, hard to stop playing once you enjoy the game
+ Beautiful artwork, I love all the small details the city map has
+ - Winning from the CPU seems like a real challenge
