Lunistice is an awesome platformer. It isn't a cakewalk, it is a very challenging game and the achievements make it even more challenging. It has the looks of games around the Nintendo64/PlayStation 1 era. Back then I couldn't appreciate the art style that much, I mostly remember frustration with it but looking back now it gives a feeling of nostalgia.

It took a bit of time to get a feeling of how far and high the main character jumped, and it can be made a bit easier by turning "shadow on" in the settings to see a clear circle on the area under you to know when you're at when in the air. Also the "slow walk" took some practice and mostly was learning just very gently pushing my thumbstick forward. After learning that I enjoyed the game a lot. It all works fine, it looks nice, what do you want more from a platformer?

I wasn't able to complete the game myself because in later levels (starting from world 3) the game had a lot of "on rails" sections and those gave me quite some motion sickness. I tried to play more levels by taking breaks in between, I wanted to keep playing because I had a lot of fun, but I found myself struggling because I just felt sick. I don't have much motion sickness, but this is one of the few that triggered it for me, which felt weird as it hasn't the first-person view.

For the time to 100% this game I mostly looked at tracking websites how long others needed to complete the game. The game has achievements for getting an S rank on every level, for this, you have to find all the collectibles and to have not died while playing through that level. What is very nice is that you don't have to do those 2 things in the same run, so you can first try to get all the collectibles and then try to get through the level without dying. You need to do this with all 3 characters if you want to 100% the game. There are a few other achievements for which you need to do something specific on a specific level, most of those you'll be able to do without even looking up what to do. I would recommend combining finding all collectibles and destroying all crystals on level 3-1, as for both you'll have to go to each area in that specific level.
