From SmoleVN comes the indie visual novel,
Lost girl`s [diary]. Released back in 2016, this is a very positively rated game on the Steam store. A free to play anime horror visual novel? Somewhat rare, so it's unsurprising that so many people enjoyed it.
A group of girls are having a sleepover on Christmas night. What better way to spend the night then just fortune telling? However, the girl's boyfriends don't want to leave them alone, and their night of fortune telling becomes a night of scary stories.
This game wasn't what I was expecting. I was thinking maybe something spooky would happen, the characters started dying off or something like that, but none of it did. This is, for all intent and purposes, a horror story book that has been animated. The achievements are all unlocked by progressing through the game, other than one, and the stories themselves aren't even that scary. I've read better creepy pastas, in all honesty.
This game really doesn't offer much unless you're easily scared, other than that, it's just a quick ten-twenty minute play through for 100% completion. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone unless you really want to just sit and read through some scary stories. I was disappointed with this; there's nothing more to say, really.
