This is a clicker game with different modes. Don't confuse this with an idle game, since it isn't. You have to babysit the game to keep on making progress. Here a list of the different modes and what they do:
    - Story: This mode has 12 chapters; you will unlock new characters and get each character its own starting pet.
    - Treasure: This mode is way longer than story mode, but it will give you as a reward more starting money at the start of every next adventure.
    - Survival: This has 25 chapters and is a perma-death mode. The reward for playing through these will be settings to speed up the game and begin at a higher level at the start of each new adventure.
    - Ruin: In this, you will kill as many monsters as possible before you die and this will increase the amount of money you start with each new adventure.
    - Tournament: This has 50 chapters and in each, you'll need to kill 1 boss.
    - Endless: As the name suggests, it is endless.

I started this Let's Journey by playing through all 12 story chapters, that way, I unlocked all the characters. For this mode, you don't have to babysit the game as much since dying isn't the end but you'll have to manual resurrect the character to keep that one, ongoing. Every mode in this game will increase how much easier the next adventure will be, either by starting at a higher level or starting out with more money.

I really disliked the tournament mode just because it took up time to build your character (selecting the skills, levelling up the skills, opening chests for equipment), then the boss was dead in like, a minute and for the next boss, you'd have to start all over again, building your character. I spend so much more time on making the character than I did actually playing the game in this mode... it became very boring.

Let's Journey has a lot of very grindy achievements. I think the one for gaining 500 pets took the longest because this requires active play. You can get these by freeing them from a cache or beating a troll but both require you to start that manually. This game has an option where your character auto-travels to all the different locations and most of the locations start automatically but not the ones for the pets or opening chest.

If we don't count Tournament Mode for a second (I only played this because it was required for the last achievement that I was missing), I can say for sure that I did enjoy this game. Everything you do will help increase in making next adventures easier, which is what makes idle/clicker games so addictive.
