A little warning: "Elena's Journal: To Atlantis" is a sequel to Elena's Journal - Unfinished Expedition . You can play this one without having played the first one, but the story continues and it spoilers big plot twists, so it might be wise to first play "Elena's Journal - Unfinished Expedition".

Another great time management game by SQRT3 & Gamehouse! You continue the story of Elena who is an archeologist and this time the cast is searching for Atlantis. The story can be a bit confusing as you switch between the current time, flashbacks, and a dream world. Overall it is easy to follow, but I say this with knowledge from the story in the previous game. I had trouble getting into the story for this sequel because of a plot twist with one of the main characters, that felt so out of character. I would have loved it if that character got time to get a bit of a redemption story.

I played "Elena's Journal: To Atlantis" on the steam deck, which worked well. I only had trouble with one mini-game (the one in the Atlantis area), but I'm not sure if this is because of the touch screen on the Steam deck or that it just is a mini-game that just was a bit annoying.

Overall I had a good time and just love this type of time management game. None of the achievements are missable and there is a nice system inside the game that will track how far you are with each achievement. I would advise trying to get all the diamonds of each level while playing through the game, this includes the bonus objective. There is an achievement for replaying 20 levels, but if you already unlocked almost everything you can also do that while being semi afk and just click replay when the time runs out.
