In this stealth adventure game you play as a young boy who is separated from his mom. During this journey you'll try to find her and be reunited with her, but along the way you'll see a lot of injustice while trying to inspire the children around you and not get caught by all the bad guys (and beasts).

The game mechanics are simple. You can't be seen while in the shadows as long as you don't touch an enemy. In my mind, this felt sometimes weird because I was standing so close that I got the feeling they should almost be able to hear my character breathe. You will also be able to hide behind obstacles and sometimes even hide in or under them. The controls for hiding around objects felt a bit clunky, the animation starts a bit late which caused that I wasn't always sure if I would be in a hiding spot on time. In my experience, the game acts like you're already hidden while the animation is starting to show you going into that spot, but it just felt a bit clunky. Later in the game, you will get some tools to influence the bad guys in all different kinds of ways.

I enjoyed the game a lot but was only able to play it in short bursts. I'm not sure why but the game felt like it was draining my focus. Luckily the levels aren't too big and you can easily stop playing after a few and come back later for more, so that's what I did.

For the achievements, you have to beat every level while not being caught (or reset to an earlier point for any other reason in the few non-stealth levels) and inspire all the children. I played every level twice, the first time to inspire all the children and learn the layout of each level and directly after beating it I played them again without getting caught because at that moment I know the way how to beat that specific level. You can see in the main menu on which level you need to inspire children and on which you got caught, so you can go back later and replay those. For all the children to count you have to inspire them all at once, not a few in one playthrough of a level and another kid in another playthrough, you need them all at once. There are a few other achievements like shooting all lamps in a specific level or hide in a coffin for 3 minutes, but you can easily go back later and get those.
