A blast. Probably the best soulslike they've ever made. The world is huge. The combat is fun with a lot of varying ways to play. Lots of monster variety. Lots of secrets to uncover. Tons of dungeons. Tons of varied bosses.
I think my two complaints are that lots of the enemies don't drop enough runes to be worthwhile to kill them and the quests are vague as hell. There are way too many enemies that just aren't worth the trouble to kill and are way better just bypassed. The quests give almost no information, forcing you to look stuff up online.
