Coffee Caravan is such a cute time management game. I adore the art style of this game, it just oozes with coziness. Furthermore, a small but nice detail is that the icons for the achievements are in the same style!

Coffee Caravan (I almost called it Cozy Caravan there, which would still be a fitting name but is missing the catering theme) consists of levels in which you serve customers and then get back onto a map like Slay the Spire to select where to get next. There aren't only levels to play through, but also shops, treasure encounters as well as mystery encounters which can contain a shop or a mystery encounter, but also unlocking a new customer or change a general rule in the game. Examples of those are 10% more tips, or 10% less patience.

In the levels with customers, you earn a bunch of money, which can be spent in the shop. There you'll find 13 new recipes to buy but also a bunch of upgraded equipment as well as new items to increase specific stats. After finishing a map, you'll get a bigger caravan which will also increase the space around your caravan where you can put items as well.

You lose a level if a customer runs out of patience. This can be the one already at the table, but also somebody in the waiting line. When that happens, you'll lose all your unspent money as well as reset to the beginning of the current map, but you keep all the bought items and recipes. So losing a level isn't a big deal at all as long as you spend most of your money while at the shop.

None of the achievements are missable in Coffee Caravan and unlocking them all takes around 5 hours. You'll unlock most of them by just playing through the game, but there are also fun ones that let you do specific things. I love that the achievements for doing stuff a specific number of times show a counter on Steam so you know how far you are with unlocking those.

There are two challenging achievements, but both are very doable. One for playing a level with all 14 recipes active but doing this on an early level of a map makes it much easier. Another challenging one is having 8 customers in the waiting line, but this can be done more easily by having a bunch of items to increase the number of customers as well as their patience in the waiting line.

The game shows in-game that it will get a summer update in the future and I'm looking forward to seeing the recipes for that update!

I give Coffee Caravan 4,5 out of 5 stars.
