Is there a good guide available: Yes, there are guides available on the steam forum and "Xbox achievements dot com" for example, but for most of the game you don't need a guide.
Multiplayer achievements: Yes, there are 2 achievements for local multiplayer, but I did them solo with a keyboard and a gamepad
Missable achievements: No, but I would suggest doing the "perfection" achievement before getting John to level 20, because there are reports that this achievement might not unlock if John has the "heal his family members" skill. If you already got John to level 20 and it indeed doesn't work, you can get an egg to reset his skill tree.
Grinding Achievements: Not really, it was easy to get 6 characters to level 20 when you have the max skill in the book of Rea and when you own the "Paws and Claws" DLC so you can get an extra experience buff
DLC-Only achievements: No, but Paws and Claws will make the game easier
    Speedrun achievements: No
    Time-gated achievements: No
    RNG-achievements: No
Does difficulty affect achievements: No, you can play on normal and get all the achievements
    Unobtainable/glitched achievements: No

This game is such a beautiful game, and it is very addictive! This is a rogue-lite RPG. The story in this game is one of a family who feels responsible to stop the corruption that is taking over the land. In the different dungeon runs, you'll find story elements and cutscenes. Every time you go to a dungeon and try to get as far as you can, but most of all earn as much money as you can to buy new skills and become stronger so you can get further in the dungeon or after beating a dungeon, go to a new one.

You start with just 2 playable characters, but the roster of characters will be getting more and at the end will be 7. They all have a different playstyle. This game has such an intriguing way to seduce you to play all the different characters. First of all, is that all skills you buy with money will work for all characters, that is why it is the most important resource in the game. Each character also has its own experience and on specific levels (4, 8, 14, and 20) you unlock a skill for the whole family. And if that wasn't enough reason to level them all, there is also a mechanic later on in the game that a character gets corrupted and has less health if it is in too many dungeon runs, it will lose the corruption by letting that character rest.

I liked the story in this game a lot, there were moments I wanted to scream at the screen to be part of the discussion the family has on how to stop this corruption. The fabulous voice acting makes the story even better, this narrator tells the story with so much passion and has the perfect voice for this type of game. Some boss fights took me a while and made me level up characters, especially the first boss you encounter but also the first boss of the second teleporter, which took me even longer. After that, it got easy because I had my favorite characters(the fire mage and the archer) so much leveled up that nothing was stopping me now.

About the achievements, this game has no missable achievements. A lot of them are story-related, others are for things you do in the game as killing X amount of enemies and leveling up. You want to look out for areas behind a blue barrier since they can be part of a sidequest, or even more important, contain a souvenir. Those are harder to find and it will be nice to have already as many as possible before you have finished the game and are mopping up achievements. There are guides to tell you where to find those and you can just run through the dungeons without killing much to get them quickly. This is also what you'll be doing for the secret achievement, but I would try to kill loads of enemies around "tribal symbols" on the floor when you ever spot them. If you miss those it doesn't matter, this one is easy to mop up afterward.

Such a lovely game and the artwork is stunning and the voice acting great. This was a joy to complete.
