    Conclusion:
    "BrainBread 2" is a modification of the original Half-Life 2 game, created by the community of players from "Reperio Studios" and became a full-fledged separate project, preserving all the features of the original.
    The game is an online cooperative survival simulator in the world of a zombie apocalypse. A team of players must withstand endless waves of opponents, complete various tasks and fight powerful enemies on the original maps of the modification and community maps from other games familiar to many players.
    "BrainBread 2" features different game modes:
    Arenas - players need to survive a certain amount of time before endless waves of opponents;
    "Story" mode - players have to go through the entire storyline of the game "Nightmare of Decay" in 50 minutes;
    "Ambush" mode - players are attacked from under the textures by toy plush frogs;
    "Objectives" mode - players need to complete a series of tasks, including the destruction of an infinite number of opponents.
    To achieve the task of destroying opponents, players will have access to a fairly extensive arsenal of weapons, which includes not only high-quality weapon models, but also smooth - but sometimes extremely drawn-out, animations of interaction with them. Because of this, reloading some types of weapons turns into a bright show for one player, which can cost you your life.
    The balance in the game also leaves much to be desired: firearms do little damage to opponents and do not correspond to the usual types of attacks from other games or modifications. To destroy an ordinary enemy, players have to spend a lot of ammo, but even in this case, the enemy is likely to remain alive. The same applies to damage to zombies, which absorb damage like a sponge, but are not "bosses" or "improved types of opponents" of the game.
    In addition, the game has an inconvenient interface for replenishing the player's ammunition: scattered boxes of cartridges do not restore the ammunition of the current weapon, which puts players in an awkward position when there is no ammo.
    Since the game is positioned as a survival simulator in the world of a zombie apocalypse, it provides the possibility of infection with a zombie virus, in which the player remains in the form of a "human" for some time, becoming neutral for the zombies attacking him, but then changes the "team" and turns into a walking dead.
    Unfortunately, rebirth does not give any bonuses or abilities, turning the player into an easy target, since the damage from firearms on such players increases several times.
    Also, during infection, the entire team receives a notification about the infection of the player, which makes an attack from an ambush impossible. Therefore, most players consider this unfinished and poorly implemented game mode - a punishment. As a result, many players prefer to simply go to the line of fire in order to quickly die and be reborn as a human for more "interesting" gameplay.
    As a result: "BrainBread 2" is a game that wanted to replace the popular "Left 4 Dead", but did not cope with the task.
    The game has multiple problems with animations, balance and the gameplay itself - however, since the game's release, none of the above has been changed or improved. Despite hundreds of bug reports and negative reviews from players, in which many described the problems in detail and even offered reasonable solutions.
    It is worth noting the players who defend this project in the style: “The game is distributed under the Free to Play system and does not require absolutely anything from you. Don't like it? Delete it and buy Killing Floor 2 for 899 rubles. Oh... a lot, right? Now you can take a closer look at what's good here.”
    In response to such cries, I would like to simply note that those who want to get a good game can buy the above-mentioned Left 4 Dead series of games, or if they want to play something good but free, they can install “No More Room in Hell” - which, by the way, came out several years earlier than “BrainBread 2”, and yet was made on the same engine, but is devoid of many of the problems of the current game due to a healthy and friendly community of players, as well as developers who listen to the problems of players.
    In conclusion, I would like to note once again that “BrainBread 2” is a rather weak shooter even by the standards of indie projects, which does not deserve the attention of players. However, it will suit those who want to decorate their profile with rare achievements, available to less than 0.1% of Steam players due to low online.
