This is a very enjoyable platformer that feels like the old Donkey Kong or Mario games from the '90s. The story is a bit childish and most of all the way it is told feels really childish but the gameplay is a lot of fun, and that does matter the most in a platformer. A few of the later abilities feel a bit clunky, like the wall jumping and the ground sliding, but with some practice, it is very doable. Although I kept struggling from time to time with the ground sliding ability.
None of the achievements are missable. I would suggest collecting as many collectibles during your playthrough so the mop-up phase doesn't take that long. Visit the city from time to time to get new quests from the people you have helped during your adventures. In case you're stuck on an achievement, please check out my guides on the steam community.
