Antenna is a short puzzle game from indie developer LWNA. Given its short life span of 15-20 minutes, there is little to say about the game, as there is very little content present. You initially set up an antenna, find the correct frequency, and then you end up controlling a semi-arachnid type robot. You wander a desolate landscape, setting up more antennas and generators, and sometimes solve small sound puzzles.

The art style is of the modern, "stylish" silhouette variety, much akin to Nihilumbra and Limbo. The foggy, gloomy, blue background instills the alone and depressed direction of the game. While not solving puzzles, the sound is very quiet and ambient, save for the hums and buzzes of generators and frequencies in the background when you pass by power stations. The puzzles themselves aren't overly complicated, but they aren't exactly fun either. The title in and of itself isn't exactly fun, it's just mediocre and existing.

Sure, Antenna is free and that's great for those of us without deep pockets. Quite honestly, not many people would've paid for the game anyway; if they had, they'd probably have requested a refund when finding out it only lasts 20 minutes. I will hand it to LWNA for not gouging gamers for a title so short, unlike the dollar games that have been popping up left, right, and center. While Antenna isn't a bad game, it's not very fun either, nor is it unique. If you're an achievement hunter, there's no harm in wasting time on this one for the easy achievements; if you're a passerby, give something else a whirl.
