This was a mistake. This person is cheating. I dont know what justification could possibly be made for this.

You could argue that they actually started the master chief collection on pc where they played for a little bit, then got it on xbox and 100% it then ported the save over and popped everything. sure

what about divinity 2? torchlight 2? payday 2? gollum? raft? the forest? do these games have cross progression too? did he cross progress 5 games in 1 day he remembered he had 100%'d on a different platform? If you look at his best days, it is clear, telltale signs of SAM. played the game for a little bit. months later, all the remaining achievements pop on the same day, for multiple games. I included more detail in the complaint. but moreover, its not my job to do an investigation, so my lack of information or otherwise is irrelevant. This person is cheating, I pointed it out to you. What happens then is on you.

I am fallible, I can make mistakes. This wasnt one of them. This behavior degrades the spirit of what this site is, and its emboldened by whoever dismissed this claim.

Your report was not dismissed. After an investigation and correspondence, the user was cleared.

Thank you for the detailed report. Playtime and timestamps do not automatically mean SAM usage. That is why we investigate.

My apologies, I took the message that says "Complaint dismissed" followed by "it was dismissed due to lack of information" as it being dismissed.

Agreed, playtime and timestamps do not automatically mean SAM usage.

Would you mind helping us, the users of this site, understand what process you used to conclude that this person played ~400 hours of games in one day, how they unlocked 400 achievements in 1 day.. in games that do not have cross saves?

I personally report a lot of people, I do a lot of research before reporting because I dont want to mess up. I take it pretty serious. Can you please help me understand what I missed here. I checked their TA account, i can see that they played halo on game pass. they didnt play torchlight 2, gollum, raft, payday 2, divinity 2, etc on gamepass.

i looked at their steam profile also. Its quite clear this person is SAMing these games to me. I cant think of a single reason why the account has these patterns. its literally what SAM always looks like. played game for a few hours. months later the remainder of the achievements pop all on the same time stamp.

Honestly, what am i missing here? August 16 2024. How can you justify that day existing on their profile.

I too am curious about this. A game or two with timestamp errors makes sense, but where is the line?
I can only speak for myself but pretty sure all of my 130+ completed games have proper time stamps/play time, not sure how other people would have so many corrupted playtimes/timestamps without some serious manipulation, but that's just me. I know I am one of the annoying ones on this site always calling out your decisions on my reports, but maybe if it made more sense to me, you wouldn't have to deal with me so much ahahaha. If date/time stamps, extremely sketchy playtime is not enough, what else can we possibly report and why even have a report feature? Legit asking. Thanks.
