Recently, I submitted a report about a user cheating. I admit that I didn't provide enough information in the initial report, and so I received a request for more information. In response to this follow-up request - I pointed out:
- the player had picked up every achievement in a game update the day before the update was released.
- the player had acquired achievements out of order, with achievements picked up before their prerequisites.
- there was zero sign that the player was affected by a bug that meant that one achievement was only, at that time, possible by entirely restarting the game. It couldn't be done with pre-existing saves.
I received a message saying this follow-up reply had been received.
Today I received a message saying the complaint was dismissed for insufficient detail. Huh? Was my follow-up lost? What more info could I have given?
