Moar forum boards

The TrueSteamAchievements Forums could do with some injection of content

Edit: Post some steam orientated suggestions, I can only think of profile stuff and trading/cards.

+1 - Especially a "Lists" board for all the many lists that people are creating!

A general gaming forum, not just for specific games, and an off topic forum.

I totally agree! They should also add the random chat, then I can bring some popular games from TrueAchievements over to TrueSteam!

Even though I liked the random chats at first (that's even how I started using the TA forums), at some point it became the same couple of people spamming answers and not even thinking about it, just boosting their post count.

I'm all for random chat games but the audience has to be good for it. I'd be up for a "guess the screenshot" game, since you can just take screenshots when on Steam and directly upload them this becomes an even easier game to participate in, and it forces people to do a bit more than the random "yes/no" et al games.

To be honest, your stats on there do seem compelling. You've done 284 posts in the random story thread alone, 267 in the word association game, 133 in hangman and 94 in the alphabet game. That's 778 one word/letter posts, or more than half of your total post count, just in these four random games.

While a big site like TA kan handle that kind of stuff, TSA for now should focus on the gaming related side of things, just like TT does. Don't need three copies of the same thread running at once, better if that stuff sticks to TA (or is dumped altogether).

Also Spil may have little over 13 times as many posts as you do, but he's also been on TA almost 20 times as long as you have been, and the random chat forum is only number 5 of his most posted in boards. Perspective.

I have no idea what it's like now but they sure ruined the fun I was having with it. What I hated the most was when the "review a movie" thread became "post a movie title and a number without backing it up with anything".

Makes it a lot more fun now, that's why I'd really love to see the same in TrueSteam. Not really any idiots hog it unless it's a posting war.
