Blockland Achievements
Don't have a timeframe as I haven't completed it, and one achievement needs boosting if there's not enough people online. But it's easy according to guides.

List is updated, added new section for games that have been mentioned in this thread but no completion times were listed, just so they don't get lost in the shuffle.

It's a movie with a mini-game in it. and the dlc is required for one of the achievements.

Incredipede is literally seconds. It's as fast as you can claim you finished those achievements.

Just with regard to the ones people have stated with no times I have completed Thomas Was Alone on PS4 and Brothers on Xbox360, times below.

For Incredipede Achievements I haven't played this but I am aware that the achievements are basically a joke as you are supposed to do them IRL, to unlock them you simply click, 'I did'. As Nomstuff said it should take seconds. I would prob list it as;

CaesarIA is an early access game is it not? ie: achievements are likely to change?

They've changed already, in that they didn't originally function or have names.

Edit: Calibre Racing is as well so I decided to just add a special section for early access.

Updated, I did not include Gravity since it can't be 100%ed - once they patch it I'll add it.

Jimmy Adams Venture Chronicles is all 3 episodes, so it's about 4-6 hours for completion

A "pick your adventure" book I would agree is a game, but not something that you simply click anywhere to advance a predetermined narrative.

VN's are still a legit genre of games, even if you manage to spectacularly mess them up, like Nekopara and Narcissu.

Telltale style stuff, absolutely, pick your adventure, for sure, click to solve (like Myst), definitely, Comic Zone style games, yup! ... no way I'd ever agree that something that behaves *exactly* like my digital comic books is a game.

VN's typically do have choices that effect the story along the way, and often endings you recieve such as Long Live The Queen , Hatoful Boyfriend Achievements or Soul Gambler Achievements

Those two are the exact same genre. as is TrueAchievements which does the same as these two.

For games like Narcissu and Nekopara, they come under a sub-type of Visual novel called a Kinetic Novel.

There are a number of people who wouldn't class them as games in the same manner as some people dismiss all visual novels, 'walking simulators' and even games like telltale get dismissed by some.

Still, i'd say that it requires any interactivity it can be classed a game. Then of course there are games like 'Do You Remember My Lullaby' which is an awesome game but requires no interaction :P. It is the one for me which blurs the lines most but nothing ever fits into box categories perfectly.

Many people have differing opinions on those but I would say that is what they would consider to be a 'Real' game. The old real scotsman fallacy. Even then, because games are so poorly defined each person can make a fully convincing argument for either outcome, meaning that both could legitimately claim the other has a real scotsman fallacy :)

This post isn't to be super serious by the way (pointing out as my text tone is awful), I just think it's amusing as the medium has changed but the definitions are poor so it creates a never ending cycle :P
