You only get one hero for this pod, but that hero is super strong and you can spend food to revive. You cannot heal or reset powers. I chose Kreyang for her Winter Just Came ability, which slows all monster movement on the floor. Also, I stocked up on Industry so that I could build defense modules in most lit rooms.
