This is the toughest difficulty in the game. The other difficulty achievements stack so you will unlock any of the ones that havent been unlocked yet.

Palidin mode isnt much different than the rest of the difficulties. The few main differences are no hints, falling off a ledge takes off 50% of your health, reloading a save after death with less than 50% health does not reload with 50% health and enemies do more damage. Overall it isnt much harder, it is just an adjustment in terms of how you play the game.

    TIPS!

    1) You can just hack and slash your way through Paladin mode. The enemies do more damage and are more likely to dodge. You must learn your opponents attack patterns. This helps with Bosses as well. A lot of the enemies I though were tough on warrior became super easy to dispatch when I learned their attacks and used the block counter. This is especially helpful against enemies like Lycans, Swordmasters and Skeletons.

    2) This mode is much easier if you have a full health bar, weapon upgrades and full magic bars.

    3) Utilize your items. Dont be afraid to use your fairies to distract enemies when you are out numbered, use your daggers, Holy Water and Dark Crystal. Holy Water is especially great for Gremlins, Reapers and Vampires

    4) Take advantage of your grapple attacks. If you are fighting multiple weak enemies like Ghouls or Goblins, dont be afraid to just grapple them and kill them with QTE. Ghouls in the DLC cannot be grappled at full health unfortunately.

    5) Take advantage of the move Guillotine. This move is instrumental at getting your focus bar up and replenishing your magic.

    Bosses:

Dark Knight: Simple boss fight. Dodge his attacks and attack in bursts. His final phase can be a bit difficult but those shadow blobs that hold you in place can be destroyed by heavy attacks.

Cornell: Shadow magic is very effective against him. Just dodge and unleash attacks with shadow magic. When he transforms, he is even easier to dodge and attack.

Ogre: You have a Magic fountain, use it. Shadow magic works well on him. Just sprint when he appears to be going to hit you and he should miss then hit him while he is open.

Crow Witch: If you completed the trial, just do that. Throw her eggs at her, throw the extra one while the camera zooms on her. You should be able to stun her leaving only one son alive. Ignore the son and grapple her. After she flies away again, deal with the Son and then repeat. You can ignore the son completely the 2nd time.

Brauner: This is a boss that pretty much can kill himself, literally. You can spend the entire fight dodging and when he throws his blade, catch it and throw it back over and over again until he is dead.

Evil Butcher: Another pretty easy boss battle. Attack and dodge is really all you need. He mostly just swings his sword, throw stuff at you, heal and breathe fire. He does a dash every once in a while as well and does a ground slam which requires you to jump.

Mechanical Monstrosity: Most its attacks are close range attacks. Pretty much just avoid his lightning attack and you are good. In the second fight he gains the ability to throw stuff at you.

Orlox: Honestly I felt Brauner was harder than Orlox, he is just annoying because he heals 4 times. Guy pretty much does 3 things. He will throw his 2 blades, dodge and counter, he will claw at you or swing his blade. He typically attacks with 2 consecutive swings and he will disappear and bounce around before attempting to hit you. Just keep your distance, dodge his throws and attack and if he attacks otherwise, dodge twice.

Carmilla: Her moves are very easy to dodge. Just attack in bursts after dodging

Necromancer: He has a limited move set. Will slam the ground and shoot fire straight ahead, just dodge and attack. He can summon enemies at the expense of his own life. Holy Water will take out his dead or Reapers. He also has a slam move that you need to jump to avoid.

Final Fight. In your final battle with you have unlimited magic. Abuse this and spam your Ultimate magics.

Grave Digger: Like many bosses his move set is limited as well. He will shoot testicles at you, slam the ground forcing you to jump, summoning Creepers and he will swing at you with a shovel. Honestly, you can easily take him out using your Ultimate Magic.

Forgotten One: This boss is clearly the toughest of them all. He doesnt have too many moves but I find it hard to react to them. I obviously recommend a full health bar with full magic. Most his weakpoints involve jumping so just use the Guillotine to keep yourself for being defenseless in the air. I find he will use his chained weapon a lot if you keep your distance. That keeps him wide open for an attack. You will just need to be patient with this one.
