In order to get this achievement you will need to build a canoe in lumbridge and ride it to the adventurers guild.
You will require level 12 woodcutting to do so, this is a little under 1600xp and will take chopping down 64 regular trees to reach.
Once you have the above starting from lumbridge castle gate go east across the bridge to the goblin invested burned house. By the river there is a large tree by a small wooden table. right click and chop down this tree and then interact with it on the board. Choose the "log" from the canoe options and then continue to interact with the log until it gives you the small cutscene of paddling upstream. During this cutscene your achievement will pop.
