How to unlock the The Reaper achievement

  This will come over time. But you can speed this up by sending the scientists always on the hardest quest.
  Reviving a scientist is not really worth it, unless you are going for the level 50 scientist.
  
  You can find new scientists in caves (scroll icon) and in chests.
