  When Smuggler sends you to save Ford Schick, you will need to knock him unconscious and carry his body all the way back to Smuggler's. Right before you talk to Smuggler throw Ford's body on the ground and the achievement should pop.
  
  (This might work with him dead as well, I can't test it.)

  Yup. Carried him to the garage (unconscious), shot him a few times until he was dead, brought him all the way into Smuggler, dead, and as soon as I tossed the body down, the achievement popped.

  Also, the dialogue with Smuggler is identical if you bring him in unconscious or dead. Lazy writing. (Of course, I just realized this achievement was released as a part of Revision and not the vanilla game, so I guess the dialogue had to be the same either way?)
