How to unlock the Pack Mentality achievement

  Actions

  To unlock this achievement, you need to deactivate the 8th orb. To find it quickly, load the 34th checkpoint (when you are about to jump for the mind controlling helmet). The orb is located in a secret underground cave (look for the yellow cable). The cave can only be accessed by removing a plank with the help of your ''followers''. After you go down the ladder in the cave, you need to fight off dogs with a torch to reach the orb (watch the video below):

  Actions

  You can start this at checkpoint 34 but I'll guide from 33 pretty much.
  

  1. After exiting your vessel head right and inside the building dropping down in front of the gate with the red light shining through
  2. Head to the far right side and pull the lever to turn on the power, you should see the number 19 light up
  3. Now go left and use the other elevator lever nearby to go down to the lower level
  4. At the lower level head to the right side and use the manual wheel lever to lower yourself again to another lower level
  5. Now go far right and into the water, go under and out the other side, then do the same again in the next section
  6. At the very end after the water climb the rocks on the right and and use the ropes above to swing your way to the left
  7. Now follow it all the way left to the mind control unit
  8. ***Checkpoint 34 starts here***
  9. Jump across and connect to the mind control unit, you should fall down with it stuck on your head and now the zombies will follow
  10. Head left and use the zombies to throw you up to the ladders nearby
  11. At the top go left again and use the manual wheel lever to lower you down to collect the zombies below
  12. At the bottom bring the zombies back up and take them to the far left side where you see all the red lighting
  13. Use the zombies to help you pull the large cart from the very left side, it has the red light on it, and position the cart under the nearby hole in the ceiling
  14. Now head to the right and have the zombies help you up to climb the rope and at the top go left and drop down the hole and into the cart you just moved
  15. The zombies will now push you left with the cart and at the end continue left up the wooden wall
  16. Continue left after climbing the wooden wall and you will come to another yellow cube with zombies in a structure above
  17. Move the red box and charge the yellow cube, as the cube jumps move the red box under it
  18. When the yellow cube is on top of the red box, charge it up and stand on it then use it to launch you up and grab hold of the structure on the right side that holds the zombies, they will all fall down
  19. Now head back to the right side with the zombies, and climb down the wooden wall
  20. At the wooden wall pull off the planks of wood with the zombies and go inside
  21. Inside, carefully climb down the ladders and avoid jumping as it's a long drop, and then head left and grab the burning torch from the wall
  22. Now carefully make your way left and you will encounter dogs, face the dogs with the torch to fend them off but keep making your way to the left
  23. You should encounter 4 dogs in total to fend off and once you reach the sphere pull out the cylinder and they will run away, you will also gain this achievement
