One update down...

I've decided to attempt Team Fortress 2 achievements in the general order in which they were added to the game (of course, I'm not trying to avoid any of them; so if I get some random ones in the process, all the better). It looks live I've gotten all the Gold Rush Update achievements I can get without help (and I've already got a session scheduled with friends to get the rest). Now to start working on "The Pyro Update" achievements.

Good luck avoiding the auto-unlock lobbies! That'll be one of the bigger achievements ;)

LOL. I don't think I'll have a problem with that. At the time, I was looking for servers running special maps designed to make getting achievements easier. People have made a lot of cool maps for achievement grinding. For example, they'll have rooms you with floors that drain your life, which makes teaming up with a medic to grind healing achievements easy, or buttons you can shoot to spawn sentries, or permanent telaporters. So I hopped around these maps to find easy ways of grinding.

Now I've got my own server and I've downloaded all these maps, so no unpleasant surprises!
