I couldn't get this to pop to save my life... I tried throwing, kicking, & even drop kicking them into the lava when I was down next to the lava pit but I finally got it going after more runs than I want to admit.
When I first opened the gate to the area with the lava pit, I ran to the middle of the bridge that's above the room with the lava, kicked a viral down to his well cooked doom, & it finally popped!
Hope this helps anyone trying to 100% this game.
