I am not sure what constitutes first playing the game but I unlocked this achievement exactly one week after purchasing and playing a round. Considering the unlock percentage I am leaning towards that this achievement is glitched or uses some other date off of your xbox live profile.

lightsup55According to the patch notes of an update on 16 December 2020...
- Fixed an issue causing the “Stick With It… A Little Longer” achievement to unlock early.

The achievement will now unlock under normal conditions.
