Puzzle-Adventure Title Adam's Venture: Origins Reveals Release Date

By Rebecca Smith,
SOEDESCO and Vertigo Games have confirmed Adam’s Venture: Origins is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 1, 2016.

The adventure begins in 1928, when a routine excavation of a French church leads to the discovery of a strange scroll bearing Templar symbols. What follows is a race to uncover the location of the four rivers mentioned in the Book of Genesis – and unpick what this could mean.

Adam’s Venture: Origins was first announced last year and is a remake of the original Adam’s Venture Chronicles – The Search for the Lost Garden, Soloman’s Secret and Revelations. Set in the 1920’s, Adam’s Venture Origins is an extensive remake of the originally announced game, reimagining the franchise as a fully formed non-violent, next-generation adventure game.

Streamlined with the power of Unity 5 and replotted to forge an engaging narrative, this is the definitive Adam’s Venture experience. Over the course of their adventures, players will find themselves crossing the globe, visiting locations like Jerusalem, Oxford, and even Temple Mount.

See the first gameplay trailer and screenshots for the game below, showing off our hero careering through a bat-infested cave in a runaway mine cart, navigating perilous ruins in a wide-range of countries, and taking on a selection of the title’s fiendishly challenging puzzles.
