So today me and our game tester / designer sat down to eat sushi and discuss Hero Siege's Endgame. We decided to bring some unique monster types for wormholes as well as bumping up the item scaling and lowering the maximum wormholes in leaderboards in order to make it more challenging and less grindy.
_There will be a wormhole level reset_
We will be adding atleast these enemy-types:
- Reflection (Every once in a while puts up a shield that reflects 100% damage back to the player)
- Lavastorm (Unleashes a river of lava towards the player, dealing trap damage)
- Thunderstorm (Spawns a glowing spot on the player unleashing a powerful lightning that divides into 8 directions dealing massive damage).
We also made the scaling of enemies vs wormhole level exponential rather than the progressive we had, so every wormhole will be VERY different and harder than the one before.
You can now choose to either grind the current level, or press a button next to the portal in order to grow it after the boss kill.
