Call of Duty: WWII Briefs Players on Dunkirk

By Rebecca Smith,
Since its reveal two weeks ago, Sledgehammer Games has been gradually introducing players to the upcoming "The War Machine" DLC for Call of Duty: WWII in more detail. We began with a detailed look at the new War Mode mission, Operation Husky, followed by briefings on two of the three multiplayer maps: Egypt and V2. Now we have the final multiplayer map briefing and a smattering of screenshots.

"The War Machine" includes three new multiplayer maps. Accompanying Egypt and V2 is Dunkirk, a map that features a large open beach area with the city's beach front buildings offering gameplay in tighter interiors. Take a look at the trailer below to hear some tips and tricks from Lead Artist Matt Abbott and Multiplayer Level Designer Gabriel Galaz.

As promised, we also have those screenshots. They cover all three of the multiplayer maps, the new War Mode mission, and zombies, of course.

"The War Machine" was released first on PlayStation 4 yesterday. Steam players can expect to see the DLC in four weeks time. Maybe we'll get a preview of the new Nazi Zombies storyline before then.
