A Casual Jumping platform game that, in all honestly, I downloaded to kill 20 minutes. However it is surprisingly fun and challenging, With a surprisingly good sound track as well. You end up bouncing around the map, turning all platforms green and pressing the buttons to unlock more parts of the map. It's admittedly simple, but manages to spread itself out quite nicely. I would definitely recommend the game for the price it is, and while I've 100%'d it ( took me roughly 35mins), I'm definitely going to play it again! Good as a chill game, my try speed running this as well, as I think there is a definite amount of fun to be with this game there as well. The only caveat I found was that, playing on keyboard, this game was at times a little annoying, and I had to turn mouse sensitivity up to be able to play decently (can do this in options, I went to 180%)

Refunct is an extremely simple first-person 3D platformer. The game is extremely simple:

    • You have the ability to jump.
    • You have the ability to wall jump.
    • You can grab onto the edge of a block and pull yourself up if you are at a high enough height relative to it.
    • You can swim (an ability only used once in the game, and then, only very briefly).
    • You can dive underwater (an ability which is, as far as I can tell, 100% useless – the game never makes any use of it at all).
    • You have the ability to slide along the ground or duck.
    • You can combine jumping and ducking.
    • There are a bunch of square blocks of various heights and widths that rise up out of the water.
    • There are grassy areas on top of them that turn from gray to green when you step on them.
    • There are red buttons that, when you step on them, cause more blocks to rise up out of the water.
    • There are a few collectible cubes which simply float around in moderately difficult to reach spaces.
    • There are pipes you can slide through.
    • There are yellow jump pads that launch you up quickly.
    • There are rectangular yellow squares that serve as elevators you can launch yourself from at the top of their arc if you time it right.

That’s it. That’s the entire game.

That may sound like a lot, but in the end, it is an extremely minimalistic set of elements. There is no real environmental variation, and there is little in the way of variety of puzzles. The only hazard is falling down into the water below… which is harmless, but does mean you’ll have to climb back up the blocks.

Ultimately, there’s not a whole lot to this game, and it is extremely short – I 100%ed the whole thing without a guide in 20 minutes. Amusingly, the game has steam cards, so if you want to get all those cards, you’ll need to idle in the game for about three times the amount of time it took to beat it.

This game simply lacks any real substance. There’s no dressing or anything. It is just what it is, and what it is is extremely simple. It isn’t memorable and I don’t see any real reason to spend your time on it, brief as it may be – and it certainly isn’t worth spending your money on it.
