This game was cute, ssssuper cute. Some things bothered me, but I didn't let it detract from the game as a whole; it's probably personal preference and partly ignorance.

I'm not much for point and clicks, likely my own fault for being overburdened by the run and guns I've been playing on the 360. I just plowed through with a guide, but paid attention to the story. Loading screens were bothersome because the game was so simple that long loads are unnecessary. That point me wonder why some games have such quick loading screens while others make the game that much longer because of them. I haven't figured it out, but that's why I don't let myself rate the game down. The only thing I do hold against the game is that the puzzles were seemingly far fetched...even random at times. Again, maybe that's just me and I don't discount that it is part of the world that was created and I failed to see it. Or I might just be stupid! I'm ok with that.

Those few points fade in comparison to what makes me like this game. I'm very grateful that the voice acting didn't suck, the animation was solid, and the story didn't get dragged on for too long at all...in this day and age, milking it seems to be a thing. The light hearted story and cute, imaginative world was very much a plus. I know some people don't care for that, but we need a mix of everything in moderation (and please understand that different people have different kinds of balances that they can tolerate for genres). This kind of story is a welcome relief from sad stories. I'm not going to tell anyone that the game is groundbreaking and the story is like nothing we've ever seen before, it's just not true. We do, however, have to admit that being original is damned difficult these days. We've come a long way with story telling and visuals which make things tough for entertainment to be original. Here's the thing, though: not everyone has experienced all there is to experience in song, movies, or games. This might be new to someone and if it is, the game was a decent expression of cute, happy endings.
