This is a fun action-adventure game from some developers that worked for RARE back in the days of Jet force Gemini and Banjo-Kazooie. You can see the influences of both of those games, into this one, especially the former Jet Force Gemini.

You'll play as the title character, the cute Tamarin but very soon it gets a bit less cute because it gets a gun at the beginning of the story. You'll switch between levels this game is a pure 3D platforming action-adventure game. There are 3 levels of each kind and 2 kinds of hub worlds.

It is clearly inspired by Jet Force Gemini, as it also has the controls like it's straight from the old N64 games. At first, I initially had a hard time with the controls, as it has been a long time since I played an N64 game and so, I had to get used to that type of controls again.
I found the game very hard in the beginning because you can use checkpoints only once and there are not that many in the game. Once I got better with the controls the whole game became a little bit easier, as well.

Most of the achievements are for things you'll do during your normal playthrough. There are also achievements for getting every collectible. On the pause screen you'll see the option to view the menu to see which collectibles you're missing. I spent most of my time, searching for those collectibles but I took way longer than many others have, therefore, my game time is a bit high. Your game-time will also decrease by quite a bit once somebody makes an in-depth guide on where to find which collectible, so you may want to check for one first, before purchasing.

If you would have asked me in the first 2 hours how much I enjoyed this game, then my answer would be that it was just okay. However, after getting used to the controls and knowing what I was doing, the enjoyment I had increased immensely. I'm sure you can tell but I enjoyed this game a lot and perhaps you will too but you may need to give it time to grow on you.
