This is a lukewarm yes.
I like board games. I like D&D and most of the media it has spawned over the years. But I would say Tales from Candlekeep is slightly less than the sum of its parts. It takes some of what make tactical boardgames cool. It sprinkles on some of the recognizable aspects of D&D and a specific section of the Forgotten Realms but it never really grabs you. My time with game has felt slightly above average. And thats okay.
