    Game info:
Wow, this game is so beautiful and the dragon's and other characters look so cute! Let me start by telling you that Spyro has a huge nostalgy feeling for me. The first Spyro game was the first game I completed for 100%, even before there were achievements. Didn't do that with many games back in those days but I just loved Spyro. That hasn't changed, I still love Spyro and it was so nice to see that I still remember most of the levels from the first game. All 3 games are amazing and to see them on Steam with achievements, makes it so so much better!

In this 3d platformer you play as Spyro and save the worlds from evil monsters. You have the ability to run through enemies with your horns, blast fire or jump/glide. There are tons of collectibles in all the Spyro levels. You don't have to get them all in one run, you can later go back to get the missing ones.

This game has some nice features to help the player out, which I don't remember where in the originals, but I might be wrong, it is 20 years ago :P. It has the option for a map, which makes the layout and finding some secrets so much easier. It also has the ability to let your firefly point toward the place were the missing gems are, this feature is such a relief. In my first level, I missed 2 gem-points... gladly I found out I could just ask Sparx (the firefly) in which direction I needed to look. The last nice feature is a warp system. Once you even entered a level or new world map, you can teleport to that level/world.

I only found 1,5 small downside so far. The first was the camera setup, It is set to active which made it feel really weird. Gladly you can set it op passive and that felt so much better. The other small downside is the loading times when going from one place to another, like from the main world to a level, or from level to level. This was the longest in the first Spyro title. I would like to add that I don't have an SSD disk, so when you have an SSD disk, it might be no problem at all.

I would suggest playing the Spyro games in order, so you can follow the story between the 3 of them.

    Achievements info:
This game has mostly 2 kinds of achievements. The first one is for completing everything. Getting all gems, all dragons, all idols, etc. The game will tell you when you reached that and it will also show it in the overview of all the levels, it will also tell you what you're missing.

The other kind of achievement is a level specific one. I know Spyro one has a specific level achievement for every single level + all the world maps that are in the game. I'm not sure if the other 2 titles also have them for every single level, but they are there for a lot of levels. I liked to use the Playstationtrophies website as a guide for those since it split the achievements up within the 3 games and it is not just a long list like how it is shown on Steam. With CTRL + F it was very easy to look up my current level and see what I had to do for the achievement. Keep in mind that you don't have to hunt those while playing through the game, you can always go back to previous levels and still get it.

This game has no missable achievements and my guess would be that it takes between 30 to 40 hours to 100% those 3 amazing Spyro games.

    Pros & cons:
+ Beautiful and very cute graphics, I want to hug most of those dragons! And they have so much detail.
+ 3 (new) features which make this game a bit easier for achievement hunters
    + very addictive gameplay
    - A minor con, the loading times, especially in Spyro 1
