Onirim – Solitaire Card Game. Released in July 2017, this has a lot of positive reviews already and shows promise on the Steam Store as a solitaire game. Good solitaire games are hard to find on Steam, so I quickly downloaded this and immediately opened it.
I was highly disappointed. This is not a solitaire game in any way – or rather, in none of the traditional ways. Unique as it is, this was really disappointing for me, and I ended up getting no enjoyment out of it. It’s rather upsetting to come across what looks like a promising game, and then it’s nothing like you expected.
Don’t get me wrong this is a good game, it plays well, even with the annoying and frustrating Nightmare feature of the cards, but it just isn’t for me. I’m sure there are plenty of people who would find this entertaining, but this just isn’t for me. It was just too much in getting my hopes down for me to actually enjoy this, even after trying it again after the initial let down.
