2. Assassin's Creed Origins General Hints & Tips

The walkthrough's layout is built with the achievement for completing every location in mind. Each location in a region can be found on that region's page, along with any quests that start in that region. This way, you can check each region's page and your region map to make sure that you've cleared everything you have to. Almost none of the quests are required for completion, but they're a fast way to build up experience.

Trinkets are being mentioned once again so as to avoid anyone missing this achievement. You need to collect at least 100 trinkets, found by looting items and sometimes enemies, then sell them all at the same time. Whatever you do, do not sell anything in the shop until you've manually counted that you have at least 100; it'd be safe to wait until you have 110+ just to have a precautionary overkill. More information is on the Misc Achievements page.

In most tombs, you can find glowing pieces of Silica that are counted along with your crafting materials. These are very important, and you need about 75 in total to complete a lot of the locations. Use the Animus Pulse in these tombs (consult your control schemes in the menus) to create a wave that locates lootable objects, including Silica. At most places requiring Silica, you'll be able to find more than you need to complete the location, which is useful for the one location that requires 50 to complete.

The two DLCs raise the level cap from 40 to 45 and 55, respectively. If you're more interested with earning perks faster instead of becoming stronger, it might be in your interest to avoid having the DLC installed. That way, when you get to Lv40, you'll have a smaller experience requirement towards earning the next skill point. However, if you're interested in having better stats instead of having more perks, you should install the DLC right away; any excess experience you earn past Lv40 won't contribute to your leveling up if you don't have the DLC installed, so you won't want to "waste" your experience gained at Lv40. There is an achievement for reaching Lv55, however, so it's still favorable to install the DLC before you hit Lv40.

Another bonus to installing the DLC sooner than later is that it gives you an optional bonus of shooting your level straight to Lv45 (for Curse of the Pharaohs), upgrades all your equipment to a very high level, and gives your special items (Ubisoft Club/Final Fantasy XV crossover) a boost to lv45 as well. You retain all the skill points you'd earn from shooting up to this level and there does not appear to be any downside whatsoever; it's free XP and it's free upgrades, saving you a lot of time.
