To unlock this achievement, you just have to pick 1 blood sample anywhere on the map and use it on one of your characters via the "Items" menu (press "Escape" to go to the Main Menu).
This achievement isn't combinable with the other achievement of the game, so be sure to save your progress before using blood bottle on your characters!
