KOTR can only be found in a cave on an island in the utmost North-East of the map. This island is invisible on the world map and can only be accessed via Gold Chocobo, and for good reason, as KOTR is the most powerful summon in the entire game, and is one of the most powerful attacks in the entire game, second only to perhaps Omnislash (if Cloud is a high enough level).
