  Your first chance to get light side points is when you enter the morgue and speak to Kreia, the old woman in there. Save before talking to her. You will have three choices for your last statement to her. One of the choices is light side, one is dark, and one is neutral. Pick the one that wishes her well.

  The dark side one unlocked on my conversation with the other companion, so I think this counts any light side points.
