This was not as challenging as I thought it would be.
There are only 5 locations you need to worry about getting your paddle to, (roughly):

Location 1 and 5 can be taken care of by moving your paddle to the extreme top and bottom of the screen. If you don't have the sequence memorized, I recommend justifying your paddle to the dead center each time. I did this with a lower sensitivity, as I found with the higher ones it was challenging to correct if I overshot paddle location.
It's about 76 hits in 1-1, so it's not too bad if you're a beginner.
