If a single glider is destroyed in this map, you will not get the achievement. This does include any Gliders that destroy themselves by attacking you.

As soon as you load the map, pause and place a Terp. Set the brush size to 9 and the terrain height to 1. All the way around the void where the gliders travel you want to mark for terraforming, 8 units in. With a brush size of 9, have the void included in the brush. If done correctly, all around the voids will be terrain marked with 1. You can now destroy the Terp (you won't need it) and resume the game. Play as normal.
Note that because terrain is marked for terraforming, you will not be able to place any units or move any units into that space. This is purely for the reason to stop any accidental placing or moving into range of the Gliders.

General strategy from here would be to place your Command Node on the lower left portion of the map, near the ore deposits. Use Mortars to defend the central area and slowly work towards placing nullifiers on the emitters at the top left and lower right. Do not build a siphon on the Aether deposit, do not try to use the power zones, do not connect to the Berthas. They are all in Glider range.
Whilst pushing back the creeper towards the emitters, you can create Bombers and Strafers and start clearing some creeper on the top right island, around the nearest spore tower.

Once the first three emitters are destroyed, build a bunch of guppies. By now you should have a small patch of AC near the first spore tower, land a pair of guppies here and build a nullifier. Once you can, put a mortar on that PZ (this one is out of Glider range) and get more guppy support. A pulse cannon may be needed to support this mortar. Keep on this strategy and as soon as you can get those other spore towers nullified. You may need strafers to clear an area near the spore towers. Once nullified, the topmost PZ should have a pulse cannon moved to it. The lower should have a mortar. Move your second CN to this top area when you can to relieve the guppy reliance. This part will be much easier if you maxed out research.
If you're struggling, you need more strafers.
If you're low on energy you don't have enough reactors.
If you have spare AC you don't have enough bombers.

From here, it's a piece of cake. The pulse cannon and mortar will clear the area around the inhibitor allowing you to destroy it and claim your well earned achievement.

nikeasPlacing Guppies' near Berthas won't trigger Gliders, but will power Berthas.

    Tried it, worked.

burtybobI can confirm that Nikeas is correct and you can use the Berthas providing you use guppies to power them.

    To get the Berthas:
    1) Follow Scoochi2 guide to clear the emitters.
    2) Use the bombers to clear the creeper from the island around the bertha
    3) Build guppies and have them land on that inner island to power up Bertha
