How to unlock the MARCO FETICHIST achievement

  To unlock this achievement, you must start the game as Marco 100 times. Continues do not count. However, you only need to start as the character, as the counter increases immediately when you've done so. (Meaning that you can exit the game before even the mission start text appears, if you'd so wish.)
  
  Local/same screen 2 player game counts both characters chosen. (I reconfirmed this by looking at the stats file, "UserDefault" in "C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\mslug3", on June 18th 2022, and this is still the case.)
  
  You might have to do an action that checks your achievement progress after starting a game with a character for the 100th time, such as rescuing a POW. The achievement might not unlock before you do that.

  Thanks for the guide but this is wrong. I started 2-player games as Marco and Eri 100 times, and then when I went to save a POW, I only got the achievement for Marco.
  PS: I tried saving the POW one run with Marco, and one run with Eri, and it still did not work.

  Sorry, but you're actually the one that's wrong here. I don't know if you counted wrong, and just had some Marco plays from earlier(so his achievement would pop earlier), or if you've encountered some strange bug. Either way:
  
  I just checked this. Reinstalled the game, checked the UserDefault file(where all the stats are kept), and it had Marco at 118 and Eri at 106. I loaded up the game, and started a local two player game with both Marco and Eri, and just in case played until I rescued the first POW. Then I exited, and I checked the UserDefault file again: Marco 119, Eri 107.
  
  Both count.
  
  I hope you manage to get your achievements! Maybe check your MS3 UserDefault file to see where the problem you're experiencing lies.
