Mountain Fortress
Trial: Complete the level after defeating the Ogre without being hit by his attacks
You will come to a section where the Ogre starts hitting the wall of the fortress and causes the ground you are on to collapse. Upon running and jumping to the next area you will be faced with a mini boss battle of sorts with the Ogre's hand. At this point you cant take any damage from the Ogre. The hand is pretty simple to defeat. It sits in one place trying to feel for you until he clenches his fist and slams it. Then he will move he hand toward you. He will do the same thing there and move back. He wont slam his fist before moving back. Simply attack his hand keeping an eye out for that pattern and you will beat that mini boss easily. Next section is much more difficult.
Now you must go head to head with the Ogre entirely. Luckily to your left there is a neutral orb fountain so you can abuse Shadow magic here for damage. What I did was run side to side with my sprint to avoid his hands\arms as he slammed them down and attacked him. Once you get him down to half, he will slam his fist into the ground causing the ripple that you must jump over to avoid damage. You can then grapple his hand and preform a QTE that takes out his eyes. Pretty much rinse and repeat a 2nd time. He does have an extra move this time however. He will get a chunk of rock and slam it into the ground. It will force you to jump over ripples again and you will need to attack him quickly to destroy the rock. When his health is pretty much gone he will slam his fist again. Jump over the ripple and grapple again to QTE his other eye out. Last section he will sniff you out and attack about 3 times unpredictably and then roar at you or something. When he does that you will need to grapple him at the point area at the middle so that you slam his neck into it for the final blow.
This is a frustrating trial and will take some time but luckily the save system works in your favor. The game will save after each QTE
The Crow Witch
Trial: Finish the level after Defeating the Crow Witch, without killing more than 2 of her sons.
This is actually not too difficult. When the fight starts the crow will throw some Eggs at you. Grapple the first egg and toss it back, now the camera will close in on her however you can grapple and throw a 2nd egg off screen. After throwing the first one, just hit the grapple again and do the spinning motion repeatedly until you see a 2nd egg fly at her. You may have to try it a few times to get the timing right. She will throw another egg or two one at a time so keep tossing them back until she is stunned. Run and grapple her and complete the prompt to drive her into the ground. Then run and attack her as she lies unconscious. Once she gets up and flies away, kill her 1 son and she will throw the eggs again where you will repeat the above. If you miss 2 eggs here it is not a big deal, just make sure you dont let her land all 3. Once stunned repeat the grapple and prompt. As she lays unconscious you will attack her again for a much longer period of time and then you will have another prompt to press quickly to rip off her skull face. If at any point the Sons give you an issue they can be distracted with fairies.
