I would suggest going to the level you feel most comfortable with, unlocking S-Mine or Teller Mines then sneaking around the while map and any areas that are chock-points (Where NPCs are likely to walk through) plant a mine of your choice. Just don't be too close when the NPC is about to walk over it.
I would also suggest just planting as many mines as you can find, make a manual save then hideout somewhere away from where you planted them (Or make a manual save after you have hidden) and wait till at least 50-75% of the mines planted have gone off then reload. Then it's just a waiting game. :)
